DESCRIPTION:<p><span>Our guest speaker was <strong>Alejandro Ganimian</strong>, Visiting Associate Professor of Education at HGSE, who will also be teaching the course Economics of Education in Low- and Middle-Income Countries&nbsp;this coming spring.</span></p><p><span>Prof. Ganimian is an Associate Professor of Applied Psychology and Economics&nbsp;at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He has conducted extensive research in Latin America. He holds a doctorate in Quantitative Policy Analysis in Education from Harvard, where he was a fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy, and a master’s in Educational Research&nbsp;from the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Scholar.
