Eduardo is a Venezuelan economist with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s in Applied Economics from the Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB) in Venezuela, and a master’s in Machine Learning from the University of Nebrija in Spain. He has taught undergraduate macroeconomics at UCAB and worked as a research specialist at the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), where he analyzed regional economic performance and advanced public policy proposals highlighting the transformative role of education. His current research focuses on improving educational quality in developing countries and reducing learning gaps among students from different socioeconomic backgrounds through evidence-based public policies. By combining expertise in economics and education policy, Eduardo aims to contribute to the Lab’s efforts to expand educational quality across Latin America and the Caribbean.
