Valentina is a Venezuelan-born educator and Master of Education candidate in Education Policy and Analysis. After more than a decade in the United States, she has focused on expanding educational opportunity, most recently serving as a Teach For America corps member in Washington, D.C., where she taught high school and led data-informed college access programs. Valentina previously worked in policy and governance roles at the Interim Embassy of Venezuela in Washington, D.C., the Office of U.S. Senator Chris Coons, and the Office of Delaware Governor John Carney. She holds a BA in International Studies from the College of the Holy Cross, where she conducted research on Venezuelan governance and Latin American politics, and is interested in strengthening education policy across Latin America.
